When Chevron, the renowned US oil magnate, decided to establish their 6000 sq.ft office in Libya, Nebulous Design was entrusted with the task of designing and transforming the space. This prestigious project marked our debut in corporate office spaces and presented a unique opportunity to showcase our skills on an international stage. However, the endeavor was not without its challenges, as security concerns in Libya called for a creative and collaborative approach.
To meet the requirements of the project, we sourced contractors, raw materials, and office furniture from neighboring countries. Chairs were imported from Taiwan, workstations from the UK, a skilled carpenter from Morocco, and wood from Tunisia. The furniture for the interiors was meticulously crafted in Morocco and expertly assembled in Tripoli.
This international venture allowed us to demonstrate our adaptability and proficiency in overcoming logistical hurdles. By seamlessly integrating materials and craftsmanship from different countries, we exemplified our commitment to creating exceptional office spaces regardless of the location.
The Chevron office in Libya stands as a testament to our ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver outstanding results. Through our expertise and international collaborations, we transformed the space into a sophisticated and functional workplace that reflects Chevron’s global stature.
